Spin - Happy Bastille Day! Tour de Fleece, Tour de France

Vive la France, Vive la Tour .

Happy Bastille Day to all our French friends.

The Tour de France was a bit slow today. I think the cyclists were protesting the removal of the communicating devices from their teams cars by the race officials. I don't blame them one little bit. I think they need to be able to communicate with their "coaches" also it's a matter of safety.IMO

When the riders need food/water, bike adjustments, new tires etc how can they communicate this to their coaches/team car without the communicating devices. Oh well, my two cents.

Some more yummy goodness arrived from Blue Goose Glen yesterday. I love these purples together. I think they will make a lovely batt.

The really yummy stuff is the new Blue Faced Leicester. Glenda said that this is a new item in her shop. Oh, is it ever nice. Beautiful natural colors and so soft. If you are a fan of Blue Faced Leicester you'll love this fiber.

This is the softest BFL that I have ever come across.

I finished carding the grey Shetland and Alpaca that I posted about yesterday and am getting ready to list them on Etsy.

I started on a new colorway this morning. It's Red Rock Canyon 2.

It's a blend of pumpkin Merino, blue Alpaca, blue Merino and blue South American Punta sheep wool. I sold the original Red Rock Canyon on Etsy a few weeks ago. This color is very similar except that I did not add as much white fiber to the mixture.

I'm still spinning on the Northern Lights for the Tour de Fleece. Like the cyclists I had a light day also.

Happy Spinning.

Wow, love the purple, but on 2nd thought, it is all so pretty. I wouldn't be able to make up my mind. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
