SPIN, KNIT AND LIFE

Hello and welcome to my blog about nature, travel, cooking and my journey through life. I am just starting a new adventure in photography. I hope you enjoy my photographs.

Blog Changes

Most of you know that I have another blog, Spin Knit and Life Fibercrafts, that pertains to my adventures in spinning, weaving, knitting, and other textile/fiber/yarn hobbies.
I am in the process of moving my favorite fiber art links, pictures, etc. to that blog. So if you are looking for something on this blog and can't find it you might want to visit the other blog.

Good morning, Dear Blog Buddies.  I need help in identifying this flower.  Calling ~S~
Thank you.

Thanks to Ann.  The plant has been identified.  It's Ruella.

The plant is a Ruella. It grows easily from cuttings. Just break off a stem, remove some of the leaves, brush those leaf nodes with Rootone and stick it in a pot with some potting soil. If weather permits, you can stick the cutting directly in the ground.

Thank you so much, Ann.

It's very pretty! Nice to see a flower when everything is frozen outside.

About Me

My Photo
I love fiber crafts. I started knitting in 2000 and spinning in 2003.I love spinning on a wheel and a drop spindle. I have a fiber shop on Etsy that features my handspun yarns and Luscious Ditty batts. I have recently added weaving and photography to my agenda. I moved to Alabama in 1992. I live in Alabama but my heart belongs to Kentucky. I have just recently acquired an interest in weaving and love it. Let's see where that takes us.
