Sadly, I think it is time to say goodbye to our beautiful winter wonderland. They say this snow was the third largest to every hit this area. I believe them. The interesting thing is that it has lingered for so long. Our temperatures have remained below freezing until the last couple of days. I'm serious when I say that it will probably be another decade before we see another snow like this. I have never seen so many snowmen, snow women, snow statues in my entire life. Growing up in Kentucky snow was a common occurrence in the winter months. I think I made one or two snowmen during my childhood and then it become "old hat". Down here everyone wanted to take advantage of this snow and build, build build. The nice thing about snow is that it makes for great photo opps.
| DH captured this snow unicorn during the very early hours of his morning walk. |
| I know this photo belongs on my fibercrafts blog. I just couldn't resist ,the blue looked so pretty on the snowy white background. |
I miss it already.
Enjoy life,
Phyllis

Will we ever be warm again? Oh I'm already ready for spring.
As I said before Phyllis....come and visit me and you will have snow for another 2 1/2 months! LOL
Love all those snowy photos Phyllis. Especially as I am tucked up in a warm room with my computer...haha. I love the prints in the snow and your blue knitting looks stunning with a white background. Glad everyone made the most of the weather. Ours has gone, gone, gone and we don't know if it will return this winter.
Love the photos! I'm enjoying the winter, usually we have so much rain and clouds, at least snow is bright.
Love the blue socks? I think they are socks. The flower photos make me ready for spring.
I have to get spinning, my fiber stash is alarming!
*giggles*
