Last week DH and I decided that we wanted to "get out of the house" for a while so we headed west. I love the Mississippi River and have also been in search of Trollbead dealers since there aren't any here in Huntsville. So we "got out of the house", found a lovely Trollbead shop in Southaven, Ms. and walked along the Mississippi River. It made for a nice little trip.
Blog Changes
Most of you know that I have another blog, Spin Knit and Life Fibercrafts, that pertains to my adventures in spinning, weaving, knitting, and other textile/fiber/yarn hobbies.
I am in the process of moving my favorite fiber art links, pictures, etc. to that blog. So if you are looking for something on this blog and can't find it you might want to visit the other blog.

About Me
- ~ Phyllis ~
- I love fiber crafts. I started knitting in 2000 and spinning in 2003.I love spinning on a wheel and a drop spindle. I have a fiber shop on Etsy that features my handspun yarns and Luscious Ditty batts. I have recently added weaving and photography to my agenda. I moved to Alabama in 1992. I live in Alabama but my heart belongs to Kentucky. I have just recently acquired an interest in weaving and love it. Let's see where that takes us.

Hi, Phyllis! Good to hear from you. I'm still having trouble getting to your other blog (have to admit that with things that have been going on, I've been a bit slow lately in both posting and reading blogs). Southaven. Gosh, haven't been there in years. I used to fly out of there with Dr. Smith when he kept his little Cessna at the airport there and we'd check out archaeological sites, site destruction, etc. I don't think I ever got to see the Mississippi from ground level there.
Oh Phyllis, it's beautiful. I didn't realise it would be so blue. ann :-)
I am not living near sea and always finding blue finding blue colours in nature photographs, at the end I got a best photograph which is best destination for tour.
Wonderful clarity in your pics Phyllis! and no snow hehe :-)
What is a Trollbead?
